We are thankful to NABARD for entrusting us the role of POPI for promoting Twenty (19) numbers of Producer Organizations (POs) in Birbhum and Dumka districts. All the 19 FPOs are registered under Company Registration Act, 2013. Regular review meetings of these POs are being undertaken to ensure adequate hand holding and guidance to these POs in a time bound manner. These POs were identified to work in deferent activities like Seed farm, goatery, Onion cultivation and its storage, Vermicompost, Kantha stitch, Solapith, Rural mart, Green house vegetable farming, Spices grinding units etc.
Concept note of identified projects of the above PO’s are already been completed and submitted to the funding authority. Detail project report (DPR), as per guideline of NABARD is being prepared.
